Dr. Tan is een nieuw personage, speciaal gecreëerd voor deze game; ze heeft nog niet eerder als personage in de Bond‑franchise bestaan. Haar achtergrond omvat psychologie en speltheorie, en in het spel zal ze een cruciale rol vervullen in Bonds reis naar het verkrijgen van zijn 00-status. Developer IO Interactive has released a brand-new trailer for the upcoming James Bond game, 007: First Light. The trailer introduces a new character, Dr Selina Tan — portrayed by actress Gemma Chan.
Dr Tan is an original character created specifically for this game and has never appeared in the Bond franchise before. With a background in psychology and game theory, she plays a pivotal role in Bond’s journey towards earning his double-0 status. In the story, Dr Tan serves as the head of the Tactical Simulation Division within the British intelligence agency MI6.
While Gemma Chan has previously lent her voice to video game characters — including Erys in Diablo IV — 007: First Light marks the first time her likeness will also appear in a game.
