MINI GT is gestart met de voorverkoop van twee nieuwe 1:64-modellen in hun James Bond-serie: de iconische Aston Martin DB5 uit Skyfall en de Jaguar XKR uit Die Another Day.
De Aston Martin DB5 is onlosmakelijk verbonden met James Bond en maakt in Skyfall een triomfantelijke terugkeer. In de film brengt de DB5 Bond en M naar Bonds ouderlijk huis in de Schotse Hooglanden, waar zij het opnemen tegen de sinistere Silva. Tijdens de bloedstollende confrontatie bij Skyfall Lodge raakt de DB5 zwaar beschadigd door geweervuur. MINI GT’s speciale “battle-damaged” editie brengt deze memorabele scènes tot leven met verbluffend realistische details: van kogelgaten in de ramen tot schade aan de carrosserie. Het model behoudt de klassieke elegantie van de originele DB5, maar draagt de zichtbare littekens van de strijd – een uniek verzamelobject voor elke Bond-liefhebber. De verpakking is voorzien van officiële filmposter-art in diverse talen: Engels, Spaans, Japans, Traditioneel Chinees en Vereenvoudigd Chinees.
Naast Bonds trouwe DB5 brengt MINI GT nu ook de wagen van een van zijn gevaarlijkste tegenstanders uit: de Jaguar XKR van Zao in Die Another Day. Deze donkergroene cabriolet is een waar gevechtsvoertuig, uitgerust met machinegeweren, raketwerpers en mortieren – een Q Branch-creatie, maar dan in handen van de vijand. In de spectaculaire achtervolging op het bevroren meer levert de XKR een intens duel met Bonds Aston Martin Vanquish – een van de meest gedenkwaardige actiescènes in de Bond-canon. Ook dit model is tot in de kleinste details nagebouwd, inclusief de iconische wapens en het agressieve ontwerp. De verpakking is verkrijgbaar in onder meer Engels, Duits, Japans, Traditioneel Chinees en een speciale Engelse China-editie.

MINI GT has opened pre-orders for two new 1:64 scale models in its James Bond series: the iconic Aston Martin DB5 from Skyfall and the Jaguar XKR from Die Another Day.
The Aston Martin DB5 is inseparably linked to James Bond and makes a triumphant return in Skyfall. In the film, the DB5 takes Bond and M to his childhood home in the Scottish Highlands, where they prepare to confront the sinister Silva. During the tense showdown at Skyfall Lodge, the DB5 is heavily damaged by gunfire. MINI GT’s special “battle-damaged” edition brings these unforgettable scenes to life with impressively realistic details – from bullet holes in the windows to scars on the bodywork. The model retains the classic elegance of the original DB5, now marked by the visible wounds of battle – a unique collector’s item for any Bond enthusiast. The packaging features official poster artwork in multiple languages: English, Spanish, Japanese, Traditional Chinese and Simplified Chinese.
Alongside Bond’s loyal DB5, MINI GT now introduces the car of one of his most dangerous adversaries: Zao’s Jaguar XKR from Die Another Day. This dark green convertible is a true combat vehicle, equipped with machine guns, rocket launchers and mortars – a Q Branch-style creation, but in enemy hands. During the spectacular ice chase sequence, the XKR engages in a fierce duel with Bond’s Aston Martin Vanquish – one of the most memorable action scenes in the Bond franchise. This model too is faithfully recreated down to the smallest details, including its signature weaponry and aggressive stance. Packaging is available in English, German, Japanese, Traditional Chinese and a special English China edition.
With these two new additions, the total number of vehicles in MINI GT’s James Bond collection now stands at eleven. Previous releases include:
