Als eerbetoon aan de klassieke film Goldfinger uit 1964 heeft het prestigieuze Burlington Arcade in Mayfair een unieke 007-ervaring gecreëerd: ‘The 007’.
Wie de prestigieuze Burlington Arcade binnengaat, loopt nu over een uniek tapijt geïnspireerd op Goldfinger met een aantal beroemde citaten uit de film. En wie omhoog kijkt, ziet een drietal gouden, hangende sculpturen van de Aston Martin DB5, beroemd geworden door de film. ‘The 007’ heeft twee exclusief ontworpen bars waar fans kunnen genieten van een vleugje 007 met cocktails die speciaal zijn gemaakt in samenwerking met Belvedere, Blackwell Rum, Champagne Bollinger en Macallan. Ga op zoek naar iconische filmattributen zoals de hoed van Oddjob, een Fort Knox goudstaaf, Goldfingers golfschoenen en de nooit eerder tentoongestelde spionklok uit zijn privévliegtuig.
Op de eerste verdieping is een unieke 007-winkel waar je verzamelobjecten kunt kopen. Voor de eerste 25 klanten wordt dagelijks een Goldfinger Sixty Years-poster weggegeven bij aankoop in de winkel. Er is ook een speciale gelegenheid om te bieden op een beperkt aantal van The Macallan’s zeer verzamelbare 60th Anniversary Decades whisky sets, waarbij alle opbrengsten aan goede doelen worden gedoneerd. Er zal gelegenheid zijn om Fabergé’s Octopussy capsulecollectie te bekijken, inclusief de handgemaakte gelimiteerde editie van Egg Objet.
‘The 007’ is van 18 september tot 31 december 2024 te zien in House 12-13 Burlington Arcade, Mayfair, Londen. De openingstijden zijn van maandag tot en met zaterdag van 10.00 tot 19.00 uur en zondag van 11.00 tot 18.00 uur.

Anyone entering the prestigious Burlington Arcade will walk across a unique carpet inspired by Goldfinger with a number of famous quotes from the film. And those looking up will see a trio of golden, hanging sculptures of the Aston Martin DB5. ‘The 007’ has two exclusively designed bars where fans can enjoy a touch of 007 with cocktails specially created in collaboration with Belvedere, Blackwell Rum, Champagne Bollinger and Macallan. Go inside in search of iconic film attributes such as Oddjob’s hat, a Fort Knox gold bar, Goldfingers golf shoes and the never-before-exhibited spy clock from his private plane.
On the first floor is a unique 007 shop where you can buy collectibles. For the first 25 customers, a Goldfinger Sixty Years poster will be given away daily with purchase in the shop. There will also be a special opportunity to bid on a limited number of The Macallan’s highly collectible 60th Anniversary Decades whisky sets, with all proceeds being donated to charity. There will be an opportunity to view Fabergé’s Octopussy capsule collection, including the handmade limited edition Egg Objet.
The 007 opens at House 12-13 Burlington Arcade, Mayfair, London from 18 September to 31 December 2024. Opening hours are 10am-7pm Monday-Saturday, 11am-6pm Sunday.
