De internationale James Bond tentoonstelling Bond In Motion is vanaf september dit jaar te bewonderen in Wenen onder de naam 007 Action Vienna.
Na het succes van de tentoonstelling in Beaulieu, Londen, Brussel en Praag is vanaf 7 september congrescentrum METAstadt in Wenen het tijdelijke onderkomen van de unieke tentoonstelling.
Tot de tentoongestelde voertuigen behoren de Aston Martin DB5 met gadget uit No Time To Die, Little Nellie uit You Only Live Twice en de persoonlijke Rolls-Royce Silver Cloud van producent Cubby Broccoli die werd gebruikt in A View To A Kill. Kostuums zijn onder andere Jinx’s jurk ontworpen door Lindy Hemming samen met Versace gedragen in de Ice Palace scène in Die Another Day. James Bond’s (Daniel Craig) witte Tom Ford smoking en Madeleine Swann’s jurk ontworpen door kostuumontwerper Jany Temime uit de film Spectre zijn beide te bewonderen.
Wenen is het decor voor veel memorabele momenten in de film The Living Daylights uit 1987. Een van deze scene is wanneer James Bond en Kara Milovy het reuzenrad van de Oostenrijkse hoofdstad bezoeken. De Aston Martin V8 uit deze film is ook aanwezig op de tentoonstelling. Speciaal voor het persmoment werd deze auto, samen met Little Nellie, gefotografeerd aan de voet van het reuzenrad.
Het is nog niet bekend hoelang de tentoonstelling in Wenen te zien is.
The international James Bond exhibition Bond In Motion will be on display in Vienna from September this year under the name 007 Action Vienna.
Following the success of the exhibition in Beaulieu, London, Brussels and Prague, the METAstadt convention centre in Vienna will be the temporary home of the unique exhibition from 7 September.
Vehicles on display include the Aston Martin DB5 with gadget performed from No Time To Die, Little Nellie from You Only Live Twice and producer Cubby Broccoli’s personal Rolls-Royce Silver Cloud used in A View To A Kill. Costumes include Jinx’s dress designed by Lindy Hemming together with Versace worn in the Ice Palace scene in Die Another Day. James Bond’s (Daniel Craig) white Tom Ford dinner jacket and Madeleine Swann’s dress designed by costume designer Jany Temime from the film Spectre are both on display.
Vienna is the setting for many memorable moments in the 1987 film The Living Daylights. One such scene is when James Bond and Kara Milovy visit the Austrian capital’s Ferris wheel. The Aston Martin V8 from this film is also present at the exhibition. Especially for the press moment, this car, together with Little Nellie, was photographed at the foot of the Ferris wheel.
It is not yet known how long the exhibition will be on display in Vienna.
