Agora Models komt met een gelimiteerde editie van de Aston Martin DB5 uit Goldfinger. Ter ere van de 60e verjaardag van de film is de DB5 uitgevoerd in verguld goud.
Het 1:8 schaalmodel is gemaakt in samenwerking met EON Productions en Aston Martin om de 60e verjaardag van Goldfinger te vieren: de film die de nu iconische DB5 voor het eerst op het witte doek introduceerde. De auto is verkrijgbaar als zelfbouwkit of als compleet model.
Het zeer gedetailleerde, 24kt vergulde model kost €29.999 en zal exclusief te koop zijn op de website van Agora Models op James Bond Day: 5 oktober. Het model verschijnt in een oplage van (00)7 stuks en is alleen beschikbaar voor de eerste 7 kopers op die dag.
Het model heeft een arsenaal aan gadgets zoals we die kennen uit de film: schietstoel met afneembaar dakpaneel, twee Browning machinegeweren achter de voorste richtingaanwijzers, kogelwerend scherm, roterende nummerplaten, bedieningspaneel voor gadgets, radar tracker scherm en een wapenlade onder de bestuurdersstoel.
Agora Models comes out with a limited edition of the Aston Martin DB5 from Goldfinger. In honour of the 60th anniversary of the film, the DB5 is finished in gold-plated gold.
The 1:8 scale model was created in collaboration with EON Productions and Aston Martin to celebrate the 60th anniversary of Goldfinger: the film that first introduced the now iconic DB5 to the big screen. The car is available as a self-build kit or as a complete model.
The highly detailed, 24kt gold-plated model costs €29,999 and will be on sale exclusively on Agora Models’ website on James Bond Day: 5 October. The model will appear in an edition of (00)7 pieces and will only be available to the first 7 buyers on that day.
The model has an arsenal of gadgets as we know them from the film: ejector seat with removable roof panel, two Browning machine guns behind the front indicators, bullet proof screen, rotating number plates, control panel for gadgets, radar tracker screen and a weapon drawer under the driver’s seat.
