Met Diamonds Are Forever, Live and Let Die en The Man with the Golden Gun verschuift Dag 1 vervolgens van Sean Connery naar Roger Moore.

Goldfinger keert terug, gevolgd door verschillende You Only Live Twice-posters en origineel fotomateriaal. Bijzonder is de hoeveelheid materiaal rond On Her Majesty’s Secret Service.

Daarna volgen meerdere uitvoeringen van Diamonds Are Forever, Live and Let Die en The Man with the Golden Gun.

Van For Your Eyes Only tot GoldenEye

Propstore Collectible Posters Online Auction: Los Angeles Fall 2026

James Bond poster collectors can look forward to a particularly extensive auction. During the Propstore Collectible Posters Live Auction: Los Angeles Fall 2026, dozens of original Bond posters and other promotional materials will go under the hammer during the first two days of the auction.

From the very first Dr. No in 1962 to GoldenEye in 1996, the catalogue offers a fascinating cross-section of more than three decades of 007 history. The auction begins on 9 October 2026 with Day 1, featuring the Bond selection from Lot 143 through to Lot 156. Fittingly, the series opens with Dr. No: Lot 143 is a 27 x 41-inch US One Sheet in the Yellow Smoke Style. This is followed by no fewer than three different Goldfinger posters, including a Country of Origin British Quad, a Three Sheet and a 30 x 40-inch poster.

Thunderball is also represented in two formats, while You Only Live Twice has a particularly strong presence. Alongside several 30 x 40-inch designs, a 40 x 60-inch ‘Esquire Magazine Style’ poster is being offered. Lot 153 adds an impressive 59.5 x 45-inch Subway Poster to the selection. The four different designs provide an excellent illustration of just how extensive the American promotional campaign for a single Bond film could be.

From Connery to Moore

With Diamonds Are Forever, Live and Let Die and The Man with the Golden Gun, Day 1 then moves from Sean Connery to Roger Moore. Lot 155 is particularly noteworthy: a huge Six Sheet for Live and Let Die, measuring 77 x 78 inches. For collectors looking to make a statement, this is quite literally one of the largest Bond items on offer during the first day of the auction.

Day 2, featuring Lots 569 through to 603, is equally interesting and has a strong international focus. Among the highlights are a French-Canadian Dr. No, three different From Russia with Love posters and a complete set of eight lobby cards. Goldfinger makes another appearance, followed by several You Only Live Twice posters and original photographic material. The selection relating to On Her Majesty’s Secret Service is particularly noteworthy. Alongside two different One Sheets and a mini lobby card set, an Italian Two Fogli is being offered, as well as French lobby card sets. For collectors specifically interested in the only Bond film starring George Lazenby, this is undoubtedly one of the most interesting sections of the catalogue.

Several versions of Diamonds Are Forever, Live and Let Die and The Man with the Golden Gun follow. The Moore era continues with a number of posters for The Spy Who Loved Me, including a British Quad and a Japanese B2. Moonrakeris also represented by, among other items, a British Quad, an original colour transparency and a large Subway Poster.

From For Your Eyes Only to GoldenEye

The selection then continues into the 1980s and 1990s. For For Your Eyes Only, a set of three different advance One Sheets is being offered, alongside a Japanese B2 and various lobby card sets. One particularly interesting collectible is Lot 600: a GoldenEye One Sheet signed by Pierce Brosnan, accompanied by photographs of the signing. The final lots consist of several collections containing multiple Bond posters from different periods.

What makes this Propstore auction particularly special is the sheer variety. American One Sheets sit alongside British Quads, Italian Two Fogli, Japanese B2 posters, French lobby cards and enormous Subway Posters. Notably, many of the lots appear relatively affordable – but who knows what the prices will look like once the auction days are over in 26 days’ time.

And for collectors working with a limited budget, there is another opportunity: Propstore will be holding a James Bond auction on 7 October.
