Voor de feestdagen van 2026 verschijnt een opvallende nieuwe toevoeging aan de James Bond-merchandise: een officiële 007 Chocolate Advent Calendar, gemaakt in samenwerking met de Britse chocolatier Charbonnel et Walker. Achter de 25 deurtjes schuilt niet alleen chocolade, maar ook een dagelijkse dosis Bond-kennis.
Wie in december aftelt naar Kerstmis, kan dat dit jaar doen met 007. De adventskalender is de eerste die volledig in het teken staat van James Bond en werd ontwikkeld door Charbonnel et Walker, de Londense chocolatier die al sinds 1875 bestaat. Daarmee wordt een traditioneel kerstproduct gecombineerd met meer dan zestig jaar Bondgeschiedenis.
Achter ieder van de 25 deurtjes staat een vraag over de films, personages, gadgets, schurken of locaties uit de wereld van 007. Het antwoord is eveneens in het betreffende vakje te vinden, samen met een chocolaatje. De vragen nemen de liefhebber chronologisch mee van Dr. No uit 1962 tot No Time To Die uit 2021, waarmee alle 25 officiële Bond-films aan bod komen.
De chocolade bestaat uit melkchocolade met een vanille-truffelvulling en donkere chocolade met een donkere truffelvulling. De chocolaatjes zijn voorzien van Bond-gerelateerde decoraties, waaronder het 007-logo. De adventskalender is bovendien alcoholvrij.
Meer dan alleen een adventskalender
De kalender vormt slechts één onderdeel van de inmiddels uitgebreide samenwerking tussen Charbonnel et Walker en James Bond. Deze pure chocoladetruffels bevatten onder meer gin, wodka, vermout en citroenolie.

The questions take fans chronologically from Dr. No in 1962 to No Time To Die in 2021, covering all 25 official Bond films.
The chocolate consists of milk chocolate with a vanilla truffle filling and dark chocolate with a dark truffle filling. The chocolates feature Bond-inspired decorations, including the 007 logo. The advent calendar is also alcohol-free.
More Than Just an Advent Calendar
The calendar is just one part of the now extensive collaboration between Charbonnel et Walker and James Bond. The chocolatier has developed several official 007 products, including the 007 Mini Milk Chocolate Collectors Tin. This metal collector’s tin contains 27 mini milk chocolate bars, with the individual wrappers featuring different Bond film posters and references to the film series.
A smaller alternative is the 007 Tuxedo Tin, containing eight mini milk chocolate bars in black and gold packaging.
