Wie nog niet in de gelegenheid is geweest om de tentoonstelling Bond In Motion te bezoeken heeft geluk. De organisatie heeft bekend gemaakt dat de tentoonstelling, met originele voertuigen, schaalmodellen en props, is verlengd tot 25 juni. Dit vanwege het grote succes van de tentoonstelling in de Belgische hoofdstad Brussel.
Oorspronkelijk werd de tentoonstelling in Beaulieu geopend om de 50e verjaardag van James Bond te vieren. Nu, ruim 10 jaar later, kwam de unieke verzameling van voertuigen naar het vaste land van Europa. In de tussentijd is de tentoonstelling wel aangepast. Er zijn voertuig naar andere locaties van Bond In Motion gegaan. En met de komst van No Time To Die zijn er voertuigen uit die film toegevoegd aan de tentoonstelling. Sinds de opening afgelopen december in Brussel zijn er meer dan 70.000 kaarten verkocht.
Those who have not yet had the opportunity to visit the Bond In Motion exhibition are in good luck. The organisers have announced that the exhibition, featuring original vehicles, scale models and props, can now be seen until 25 June. This is due to the great success of the exhibition in Brussels.
Originally, the exhibition was opened in Beaulieu to celebrate James Bond’s 50th birthday. Now, over 10 years later, the unique collection of vehicles came to mainland Europe. In the meantime, however, the exhibition has been modified. Vehicles have gone to other Bond In Motion locations. Bond In Motion heeft een hele nieuwe opzet ten opzichte van de voorgaande edities. Zo is, mede dankzij de ruimte van de Expo, grote ruimtes gecreëerd waar voertuigen min of meer op categorie staan ingedeeld. Van miniaturen in de lucht, de koude vlakte van IJsland en de onderwateravonturen van de diverse films kom je aan op het hoofdplein van de tentoonstelling. En hier staat in het middelpunt de Aston Martin DB5 uit de laatste film No Time To Die.
Bond In Motion has a whole new set-up compared to previous editions. For instance, thanks in part to the Expo’s space, large areas have been created where vehicles are arranged more or less by category. From miniatures in the sky, the cold expanses of Iceland and the underwater adventures of the various films, you arrive at the main plaza of the exhibition. And here the centrepiece is the Aston Martin DB5 from the latest film No Time To Die.
Ook zijn er interactieve elementen toegevoegd. De Aston Martin DB5 staat op een draaiplateau en eens in de 7 minuten gaat het roken en komen de M134 miniguns in beweging en tijdens het ratelende geluid draait te auto rond. Ook andere iconische stukken zijn voorzien van rook- en lichteffecten.
Er kan ook in alle rust genoten worden van een wodka martini, shaken not stirred of een lunch worden genuttigd. Aan het einde van de tentoonstelling is het mogelijk om originele memorabilia in te slaan.
