Agora Models heeft, geheel onverwacht, het derde James Bond voertuig in hun serie aangekondigd. Het is de Aston Martin DB5 uit Goldfinger.
Niet geheel ontoepasselijk: de film uit 1964 viert dit jaar zijn 60e verjaardag. Menig James Bond-liefhebber zal denken: de DB5 is er toch al van Agora Models? Klopt, maar dat is de versie uit de laatste film No Time To Die. Deze versie is het origineel zoals we dat kennen uit Sean Connery’s derde film als James Bond.
Beide zijn uitgevoerd in de kleur Silver Birch, maar toch wezenlijk anders. Zo is het interieur niet uitgevoerd in zwart leer, maar in de grijze kleur Elephant Grey zoals bij de originele auto. En een groot verschil zijn de roterende nummerplaten aan de voor- en achterzijde. En ook voor dit model hebben EON Productions en Aston Martin samengewerkt.

Not entirely inapplicable: the 1964 film celebrates its 60th anniversary this year. Many a James Bond enthusiast will think: surely the DB5 is already there from Agora Models?
