Het lijkt erop dat met de komst van Amazon MGM Studios de nieuwe James Bond film in een stroomversnelling is geraakt. Ze hebben onthuld dat Amy Pascal en David Heyman BOND 26 zullen produceren.
Amy Pascal is geen onbekende in de filmwereld. Met haar eigen productiemaatschappij Pascal Pictures bracht ze onder andere de Ghostbusters reboot en Spider-Man: Homecoming uit voor Sony Pictures. In haar tijd bij Sony Pictures Entertainment was ze onder andere verantwoordelijk voor de release van Casino Royale, het debuut van Daniel Craig.
David Heyman is ook bekend in de filmwereld en heeft een groot aantal succesvolle kaskrakers op zijn naam staan. Naast de Harry Potters film was hij ook producent van The Boy In The Striped Myjamas, I Am Legend, Paddington, Yes Man, Gravity, Barbie en Wonka.
