Het bekende modelbouw merk Revell heeft zijn eerste James Bond lijn gepresenteerd. Naast de beroemde Aston Martin DB5 verschenen in deze serie ook nog vijf andere voer- en vliegtuigen. We zetten ze op een rijtje voor je.
Aston Martin DB5
De focus van het bedrijf ligt op de wereldberoemde Aston Martin DB5 uit de film Goldfinger. Niet alleen vanwege de beroemdheid, maar ook vanwege de moeilijkheidsgraad is dit een ideaal model voor beginners volgens het merk. Het model bestaat uit 122 onderdelen die makkelijk in elkaar passen en met de verschillende stickersets naar eigen smaak aan te passen. De geschenkset komt samen met een mini filmposter van de film Goldfinger.
Well-known modelling brand Revell has presented its first James Bond line. Besides the famous Aston Martin DB5, five other vehicles and planes also appeared in this series. We list them for you.
Aston Martin DB5
The company’s focus is on the world-famous Aston Martin DB5 from the film Goldfinger. Not only because of its celebrity, but also because of its difficulty level, this is an ideal model for beginners according to the brand. The model consists of 122 parts that fit together easily and can be customised to your own taste with the different decal sets. The gift set comes together with a mini movie poster of the film Goldfinger.
Ford Mustang Mach I
De rode Ford Mustang Mach I is het volgende voertuig uit de serie van Revell. De schaal van dit model is net iets anders dan de Aston Martin DB5, al zal het verschil bijna niet te zien zijn. De Mustang heeft een schaal 1:25 en moeilijkheidsgraad 4 van 5.
Ford Mustang Mach I
The red Ford Mustang Mach I is the next vehicle in Revell’s series. Scale of this model is slightly different from the Aston Martin DB5, although the difference will be almost imperceptible. The Mustang has a scale of 1:25 and difficulty level 4 out of 5.
Citroen 2CV
De 2 PK sterke Citroen 2CV van Melina Havelock mag niet ontbreken in de serie. In dezelfde schaal als de Aston Martin DB5 en dezelfde moeilijkheidsgraad als de Ford Mustang. Het model wordt geleverd met een kap die open kan en een stickers met kogelgaten. Bij Revell verscheen de eerste Citroen 2CV in 2011 en ten opzichte van dat model zijn er voor de James Bond-versie een aantal onderdelen verbeterd.
Citroen 2CV
Melina Havelock’s 2 HP Citroen 2CV is not to be missed in the series. In the same scale as the Aston Martin DB5 and the same difficulty level as the Ford Mustang. The model comes with a hood that can be opened and stickers with bullet holes. Revell released the first Citroen 2CV in 2011 and compared to that model, some parts have been improved for the James Bond version.
BMW Z8
Het is niet de eerste keer dat Revell de BMW Z8 op de markt brengt, wel de eerste keer als James Bond-versie. Hoewel van de Bond-versie is niet heel veel merkbaar, op het kenteken na. Terwijl de Aston Martin DB5 is uitgerust met de gadgets uit de film, is dat bij dit model niet helemaal het geval. Niet helemaal, want op de foto’s is te zien dat er wel een display op het stuurwiel aanwezig is. Maar helaas geen raketten aan de zijkant. De auto is zowel met een open als een gesloten kap te bouwen. En, zoals bij alle James Bond-sets, zit er een poster van The World Is Not Enough bij het model.
BMW Z8
This is not the first time Revell has released the BMW Z8, but it is the first time as a James Bond edition. Although of the Bond version, not much is noticeable, apart from the licence plate. While the Aston Martin DB5 is equipped with the gadgets from the film, that is not quite the case with this model. Not quite, as the pictures show that it does have a display on the steering wheel. But unfortunately no rockets on the side. The car can be built with both an open and a closed hood. And, as with all James Bond sets, the model comes with a poster of The World Is Not Enough.
Moonraker 6
De Moonraker spaceshuttle werd al eerder uitgeven door Airfix (1979), Doyusha (1995), recent door AMT in 2020. Ook bij Revell verscheen de spaceshuttle in 1979 in twee verschillende verpakkingen en ten opzichte van dat model zijn er geen wijzigingen. Het model heeft net als alle eerder verschenen modellen een schaal 1:144 en heeft het minst aantal onderdelen: 64.
Moonraker 6
The Moonraker space shuttle has been previously released by Airfix (1979), Doyusha (1995), most recently by AMT in 2020. Revell also released the space shuttle in 1979 in two different packages and there are no changes from that model. Like all previously published models, the model has a 1:144 scale and has the least number of parts: 64.
Eurocopter Tiger
Voor het eerst verschijnt de Eurocopter Tiger uit de eerste film van Pierce Brosnan: GoldenEye. Het model heeft een schaal 1:72 en bestaat uit 76 onderdelen in de schaal 4 van 5. Voor de film werd een standaard helikopter gebruikt en dat geldt ook voor het model van Revell. Het eerste Tiger model verscheen in 2006 en op nieuwe stickersets na geen veranderingen gekomen.
Eurocopter Tiger
Appearing for the first time is the Eurocopter Tiger from Pierce Brosnan’s first film: GoldenEye. The model has a 1:72 scale and consists of 76 parts in 4 of 5 scale. A standard helicopter was used for the film and so is Revell’s model. The first Tiger model appeared in 2006 and apart from new decal sets, no changes have come.
