Prime Video heeft aangekondigd dat het tweede seizoen van 007: Road To A Million wereldwijd op 22 augustus in première gaat.
Producenten Eon Productions, Amazon Studios en 72 Films kondigden de serie aan in september 2023, nog voordat het eerste seizoen te zien was, en startten het castingproces voor dynamische duo’s. De opnames vonden plaats in 2024, deels buiten het Verenigd Koninkrijk.
Acht duo’s van gewone mensen maken een spannende reis rond de wereld. Ze gaan op uitdagende missies op iconische Bond-locaties, met klimmuren, duiken naar haaienriffen en opnamen maken in Mexico. Eliminatie vindt plaats via de zogenaamde ‘Killer Question’. Acteur Brian Cox keert terug als “The Controller”.
Volgens fans is vooral Londen de belangrijkste locatie voor het nieuwe seizoen. Vooral Camden Market en de oevers van de Theems blijven populair als potentiële opdrachtplekken in dit nieuwe seizoen. Met intensere missies, emotionele verhalen en een flinke dosis Bond-sfeer belooft seizoen 2 van 007: Road To A Million een meeslepende mix van avontuur, kennis en drama te worden.
