MI6 Confidential #76

Er is een nieuw nummer van het Engelstalige tijdschrift MI6 Confidential verschenen. Nummer 76 is getiteld Dance Into The Fire over de 40e verjaardag van A View To A Kill.

Ter gelegenheid van de 40e verjaardag van de film, die kan worden beschouwd als Roger Moore’s zwanenzang als James Bond, neemt de redactie de eerdere scripts onder de loep. Er wordt ook gekeken naar hoe deze film verschilde van Roger Moore’s andere James Bond-films.

Ze richten zich ook op de literaire kant. Ze schrijven bijvoorbeeld over de uitdijende literaire 007, in de vorm van Leiter en Q. En speciale aandacht voor The Killing Zone: een niet-geautoriseerde James Bond-boek van Jim Hatfield dat werd uitgegeven in 1985.

A new issue of the English-language magazine MI6 Confidential has been released. Issue 76 is titled Dance Into The Fire about the 40th anniversary of A View To A Kill.

To mark the 40th anniversary of the film, which can be considered Roger Moore’s swan song as James Bond, the editors take a look at the earlier scripts. It also looks at how this film differed from Roger Moore’s other James Bond films.

They also focus on the literary side. For instance, they write about the expanding literary 007, in the appearance of Leiter and Q. And special attention to The Killing Zone: an unauthorised James Bond novel by Jim Hatfield that was published in 1985.
