Platenmaatschappij La-La Land Records heeft een nieuwe luxe uitgave aangekondigd van de soundtrack van de James Bond-klassieker Diamonds Are Forever. Het gaat om een 55th Anniversary Expanded & Remastered Edition, uitgebracht als een gelimiteerde dubbele cd, die vooral gericht is op verzamelaars en liefhebbers van filmmuziek.
De soundtrack is oorspronkelijk gecomponeerd door John Barry, een van de meest iconische componisten uit de Bond-reeks. Zijn werk voor de film wordt door velen beschouwd als een van de bepalende muzikale stijlen binnen de franchise. Voor deze jubileumeditie is de originele score volledig gerestaureerd en uitgebreid, waarbij gebruik is gemaakt van de oorspronkelijke analoge opnamemasters.

The American record label La-La Land Records has announced a new deluxe release of the soundtrack to the James Bond classic Diamonds Are Forever. This 55th Anniversary Expanded & Remastered Edition is issued as a limited double CD set, aimed primarily at collectors and film music enthusiasts.
