Om de 50e verjaardag van de The Man With The Golden Gun te vieren wordt het titelnummer, gezongen door Lulu, exclusief uitgebracht op 12″ picture disc vinyl.
De gelimiteerde editie van de titelsong van Roger Moore’s tweede film als James Bond wordt uitgebracht om Record Store Day 2024 te vieren. Het nummer is geschreven door John Barry en Don Black en uitgevoerd door Lulu. Dit is de eerste keer dat dit nummer is uitgebracht als 12″ picture disc met het originele artwork van de James Bond film. In 2024 is het 50 jaar geleden dat The Man With The Golden Gun in de bioscopen draaide. In datzelfde jaar werden ook John Barry’s soundtrack en titelsong uitgebracht. In 2022 voegt Lulu zich bij Dame Shirley Bassey, Don Black, David Arnold en andere musicalsterren om haar nummer uit 1974 uit te voeren tijdens The Sound Of 007 In Concert in de Royal Albert Hall in Londen.
De exclusieve RSD 12″ picture disc bevat het poster artwork van de film, ontworpen en geïllustreerd door Robert McGinnis. Het ontwerp bestaat uit een collage van geïllustreerde beelden van belangrijke personages, scènes en locaties uit de film.

This is the first time this song has been released as a 12″ picture disc with the original artwork from the James Bond film. 2024 marks the 50th anniversary of The Man With The Golden Gun hitting cinemas. That same year also saw the release of John Barry’s soundtrack and title song. The exclusive RSD 12″ picture disc features the film’s poster artwork, designed and illustrated by Robert McGinnis. The design consists of a collage of illustrated images of key characters, scenes and locations from the film.
